These web pages are based on CSS technology so they promise to be more accessible and foreseeable for users. Also we will be in a better position to provide you with information through these pages.

We are glad to present the new 1.1 version of ExportCompass Desktop software. . Now it is possible to draw up the export potential Index and to use Bechmarking operations at the same time, in order to perform an accurate market segmentation. Few relevant data series have been added to ExportCompass, such as Political risk, Commercial risk and Import barriers.

We have included the second export service under ExportCompass trademark by the company VL BALTIC. Now through ExportCompass we are offering also the import partner matchmaking service. Thus a company can identify strategic export directions based on ExportCompass markets overview and also have a quick and reliable access to the right import partners by using our second service. We do not scale down the geographic coverage, so we are considering each separate country to find the import partners.

We are expanding sales of our services to Eastern markets like Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. We are sure that there is a strong need for such a product due to the recent growth of these economies and more entrepreneurs looking to commence their exports to more distant markets.

Born in 1977. Graduated the University of Latvia, International Affairs speciality in 2000. Currently studying export management in University of Latvia. Speaks Latvian, Russian and English.

Work experience related to international business relations and export:

Since 2002 – Deputy Director in the VL BALTIC company (business consultation for foreign and Latvian enterprises).
2001-2002 – Wasa Consulting Oy, consultant (trade promotion).
1999-2001 – individual consultant work for Latvian and foreign companies/institutions (trade promotion, marketing and analytical publications).
1995-1999 – Latvian Investment and Development Agency, project manager (trade promotion, market research, marketing and analytical publications).

Interested in production technologies and export promotion.

Aija Brûvere

Born in 1981. In 2003 graduated the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga receiving Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration. In 2005 received Master’s degree in social sciences in the University of Latvia, European Studies Programme. Speaks Latvian, Russian, English, German, and French.

Work experience related to international business relations and export:

Since 2007 working in VL BALTIC as a project manager (business contacts with foreign and Latvian companies, partner search, market research, export consulting).
2007 - work at the international energy company Dalkia Latvia: assistant of the Board (project management and public relations).
2004-2006 - Baltic Business Professional: project manager (projects for obtaining financing from EU funds, business consulting, market research).
2001-2003 - working on projects basis in Swedish Trade Council: assistant (market research, international business contacts, partner search).

Interested in brand management, effective and useful market research as well as preconditions for successful entrepreneurship.
